He later transferred to Cornell University where he obtained his Bachelor’s Degree in 2001. Following a 1 year clinical rotation at Purdue University, Dr. Sementa was awarded the degree of Doctor of Veterinary Medicine, finally realizing his lifelong dream. After graduating from veterinary medical school, Dr. Sementa moved to New York City where he completed a rigorous 13 month internship at Fifth Avenue Veterinary Specialists, where he was able to hone his skills as both a clinician and a surgeon, while working closely with specialists in Surgery, Neurology, Internal Medicine, Critical Care, Oncology, Cardiology and Ophthalmology. His love for the Rochester area and his close knit family brought Dr. Sementa back to the area where he practiced for 7 years before he took over as Owner and Medical Director of Webster Veterinary Clinic in the spring of 2013.
Dr. Sementa regularly attends Continuing Education Seminars to broaden his knowledge. He also works closely with the Ross University Alumni Board, to help mentor and usher in the new era of veterinarians. In 1998 she was accepted at Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine, and spent the next two and a half years living and going to school on the island of St. Kitts in the Caribbean. She completed her clinical year at Oklahoma State University School of Veterinary Medicine, and graduated in 2001. After graduation, Dr. Lewis started working as a general practitioner in small animal medicine.
